If you’re new to our store, please use this guide to place your order.
1. Browsing the Store
Once you’ve identified the product you want to purchase, click on Add to Cart. You may continue to browse the store and add more items to your cart. When you are ready, click on View Cart.

2. Viewing Your Cart
On the Cart page, you will be able to see the products in your cart, their price, and quantity. You can adjust the quantity to add or remove more items of the same product. You can also add and remove products from the cart using the close (X) button on the left.
If you have a coupon code, now is a great time to key it in and Apply Coupon. You should see a change in the subtotal. Now Update Cart.

3. Proceed to Checkout
If you’re satisfied with your totals, Proceed to Checkout.

4. Enter Your Billing Details
Please note that fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. Improperly or partially filled details will also result in an error. We value your data and privacy. Your personal details will be securely stored and will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


5. Shipping Address and Special Notes
If you already have an account with us and would like your purchase to be routed to a different shipping address, now is your chance to add that. Just click the checkbox on the right and enter the new details. This is handy if you are traveling or delivering to someone else. Otherwise, if you would like to change your billing address entirely, please visit your account page and edit your details there.
If you have custom instructions about your order, feel free to leave a note here. This is optional and can be disregarded if it does not apply.

6. Choose a Payment Method
You will have another opportunity to double check the details of your order. Check the number of products, the quantity, the subtotal and Total amounts to make sure they are what you ordered. This is by design since we have a strict No- Refund Policy for Digital/Downloadable items. For more on our Cancelation and Refund policy, click here.
Choose your payment gateway. For now DPO is our only payment gateway and is selected by default.

7. Email Updates and Terms
You may opt in to receive emails with exclusive deals, discounts, coupons and important updates. This is optional. Click the checkmark to agree to the website terms and conditions. This is mandatory. Once you have done this, place your order.

8. Note your Reference Number & Personal Details
Please note your payment reference number as we may need this in case anything arises. We don’t anticipate that this will happen but it doesn’t hurt to be cautious. You may also enter your preferred currency at this stage. Please note that foreign exchange rates will apply.
Verify that you have entered your personal details correctly and continue to payment.


9. Payment
Choose your payment method. We accept Visa, MasterCard and other major credit card providers. If you’d like to pay using your card, enter the card holder name as it appears on the card. Enter the card number (with or without spaces), the date of expiry and the CVV. (Click on the question mark to see where you can find the CVV on your bank card.) If you are satisfied that all details are correct, for your convenience you may save your details for future payments. However, this is optional.
Tick the checkmark to agree to DPO’s terms and conditions. DPO is our trusted payment gateway.
Please note that if your card details do not match your account details, your transaction may be flagged by anti-fraud measures.

Enter your One-Time Password
Enter the one-time password sent to you by your banking or card provider. This will take you to the Order Received Page.

Payment via Mobile Money
If you opt to pay with M-Pesa or Airtel Money, a push notification will be sent to your phone. Please have it handy as the notification expires fairly quickly. You will be required to enter your secret mobile PIN to complete the payment. Instructions on the same will also appear on the screen.
Tick the checkmark to agree to DPO’s terms and conditions. DPO is our trusted payment gateway. Once your payment is verified, this will take you to the Order Received page.

10. Success! Your Order has been received
With these ten easy steps, your order will be received and fulfilled. On this page you will be able to view details of your order but most importantly, download your file.

You will have a limited number of downloads so ensure that you safeguard your file. If you exceed the number of times you are allowed to download the product, an error message will appear on the screen informing you of the same.
You will also receive two emails. One from DPO, our payment gateway partner to confirm that your payment has gone through. And one from us The Hooting Owl to confirm your order details and deliver your downloadable product. Please keep these emails for future reference in the event that anything arise.
